New Orleans Saints: Reasons why the Saints are the best in the league

The New Orleans Saints won in Drew Brees return against the Arizona Cardinals and we can definitely say that the Saints are the best team in the NFL.
The New Orleans Saints welcomed back Drew Brees on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals and hit return went perfect. Brees threw for over 370 passing yards with three touchdowns en route to the Saints dismantling the Arizona Cardinals, 31-9.
The Cardinals were on a three-game winning streak entering this game and there were reasons to believe that they could be a tough matchup with such a good pass-rush. However, as it usually does, the Saints’ offensive line held up and the Cardinals did not record a single sack of Brees.
It really was the perfect win to come back to and the perfect win to head into the bye week with. The players get to head into the bye with a positive taste in their mouth while the fans got one last show at home before the season hits its halfway point.
The Saints have played eight games this year and have a 7-1 record. With New Orleans officially being halfway through the season, we can definitively say that they are the best team in the National Football League.
