The New Orleans Saints have their most important game of the entire regular season in Week 14 against the 10-2 San Francisco 49ers.

The New Orleans Saints have had a lot of important games thus far this season and have overcome quite the hurdles. Not only have the Saints been successful despite missing their Hall of Fame quarterback for five games, but the teams that the Saints have been beating are no pushovers.

The Saints get their biggest challenge of the entire season in Week 14 as they take on the San Francisco 49ers, who have been in control of the NFC as the first seed all season long. On Sunday, the Saints have the chance to change that and potentially guarantee that they are the first seed.

Both the Saints and the 49ers are 10-2 heading into this matchup and with only three games remaining after this game, the outcome of this will more than likely decide who gets home-field advantage in the postseason.

Not only will the winner of this game gain a one-game lead over the other team, but they will also have the tiebreaker, essentially giving them a two-game lead in the race for home-field advantage.

The 9-2 Seattle Seahawks could also sneak into the conversation, although we have to see how they do against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.

It would take a three-game meltdown for the winner of this game to not have home-field advantage when the season is all said and done.

The 49ers are coming off of a close loss to the Baltimore Ravens, which will likely fuel the team even further to win their biggest game of the season. It is going to be a tough matchup for the Saints and if they are going to emerge victorious they must accomplish these three keys.
