The New Orleans Saints are entering the team’s most important game in Week 14 as they host the 10-2 San Francisco 49ers with home-field advantage at play.

The New Orleans Saints take on their biggest challenge yet in Week 14 as the San Francisco 49ers are coming to town looking to escape as the NFC’s first seed.

The 49ers have been the first seed in the NFC this entire season but a loss in last week against the Baltimore Ravens changed that. By losing to the Ravens, the 10-2 49ers have the same record as the Seattle Seahawks, which gives Seattle the division lead with the tiebreaker.

If the 49ers lose to the Saints and the Seahawks defeat the Rams then the 49ers will be one game back of both teams with both teams having the tiebreaker over them.

For the Saints, this would give them the tiebreaker advantage over both the Seahawks and 49ers, which is huge considering that they play each other later in the year and one of them has to lose, well, unless they tie.

Barring a meltdown in what is a seemingly easy end to the season, beating the 49ers in Week 14 should just about guarantee the first seed for the New Orleans Saints. Losing to the 49ers makes this race all the more complicated.

This game is as high-profile as it gets and pits two of the league’s best teams against one another. It is a hard one to predict and to get a better grasp on it, we decided to break down the entire roster, position by position, starting with special teams.
