The New Orleans Saints lost a shootout against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14 and every fan has a right to feel frustrated about a multitude of things.

The New Orleans Saints could not get the job done in the team’s biggest game of the season thus far. The San Francisco 49ers won the battle of the 10-2 teams to increase their chances of finishing with home-field advantage in the NFC.

Meanwhile, the Saints went from being the No. 1 seed to being the No. 3 seed. If the Saints and the Green Bay Packers both win out the Packers would get the first-round bye because of a better NFC record. The Saints now need to win out and get some help as well.

The game itself was at least entertaining, which was evident by the 48-46 final score. This game is probably the favorite for the game of the year unless two teams put up a 100 bomb in the final three weeks of the season.

Heck, there was everything in this game. There were fake punts, double-reverse passes a lot of Taysom Hill. Both teams threw the kitchen sink at each other, and unfortunately, the Saints did not prevail.

Fair play to the 49ers, they played a great game and the worst thing to do as a Saint fan is to completely dismiss what the other team accomplished. However, there definitely frustrating things about this game. Here are the big three that we took away.
