Saints Final Preseason Loss Leaves Fans Worried

It all seemed to finally click for the New Orleans Saints during the beginning of their final preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Saints on their second series drove down and scored on a short 7-yard pass to receiver Willie Snead and then followed that with a field goal towards the end of the first quarter.

But those 10 points would be the only scores for the Saints in the game as Green Bay scored 38 unanswered points for the remainder of the game.

While I know it’s preseason and I’ve seen countless people saying not to worry, it’s something that I’m just not buying.

In fact, unfortunately I’m getting the same creeping feeling in the back of my head that you get watching a horror movie and you’re waiting for Jason Voorhees to jump out as the music builds.

The mention of Jason is pretty appropriate since it has been Friday the 13th for the Saints even at the beginning of camp.

The Advocate’s Nick Underhill said following last night’s game that he was as still confused about the team in key areas as he was just a few weeks ago…and I wholeheartedly agree.

Yes the loss last night has left plenty of want and worry as the team heads towards final cutdown this Saturday and I’ll explain what I mean with three specific reasons —- starting with THIS…….
