I’ll consider it a small miracle if McBride lasts until the Saints first pick in the fifth round with the 148th overall pick.

McBride is a nice sized receiver at 6’0″, 210 lbs. that ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine as well as 16 reps on bench press and posted a 38 inch vertical.

NFL.com compared him to current New England Patriots receiver and former LSU Tiger Brandon LaFell.

Also stating in their scouting report:

"Makes circus catches look easy and appears fearless in the air. Elite high-point ability with outstanding body control, ball tracking and concentration. Plucks the ball out of the air. Excellent catch radius that saved his quarterback one or two incompletions per game."

Mcbride also has received high praise for his blocking ability as well as his work ethic.
