5 Players To Watch For LSU vs. Eastern Michigan

TE DeSean Smith
Sep 19, 2015; Baton Rouge, LA, USA; Louisiana State Tigers tight end Colin Jeter (81) celebrates with teammates DeSean Smith (89) and Foster Moreau (43) after catching a touchdown pass for Louisiana State
One of the trends Tiger fans have been following with interest is the evolution of Brandon Harris as a quarterback. He has improved with each game, and Eastern Michigan is a chance for him to continue to develop his repertoire.
That’s where DeSean Smith comes in. DeSean Smith is the most talented pass catcher among the LSU Tight Ends. He only has one reception for the year, but it was a memorable deep strike over the middle against Mississippi State.
Mississippi State was LSU’s toughest game so far and Smith’s reception was critical for setting up a necessary score.
There will be more tough games where Smith can be a difference maker, and this weeks game is a great opportunity to integrate him more fully into the offensive plan.
