Dropped passes have cropped up to burn the Tigers several times this season. Head Coach Les Miles went so far as to publicly call his receivers out and threaten to replace some starters after the Eastern Michigan game.

Dropped passes were a problem again in the Alabama game. There weren’t as many drops as there were against Eastern Michigan but the ones that happened really stood out.

In a game where opportunities of any kind were so hard to come by dropped passes were particularly damaging.

One good thing here: this is a correctable problem.

LSU has a talented group of pass catchers, but they are very young and still developing. With time they will become more consistent.

In spite of the down feelings this week most Tigers fans know that Brandon Harris to Malachi Dupre and company will be a treat to look forward to in future games.
