#4. Coby Fleener

The Saints have always featured receiving tight ends in their offense, going back to Jimmy Graham and Jeremy Shockey.

Last season, Ben Watson was the beneficiary of this system, reviving his career with over 70 catches and over 800 yards receiving, both career highs.

His replacement is Coby Fleener, and there’s been a lot of buzz around this guy in the fantasy community.

By general consensus, he’s considered a top ten player at the tight end position. Fleener’s skill set is ideal for the Saints vertical style offense, he has the speed to gain separation from linebackers, and the height to pull down red zone targets.

However, he’s never had to be “the guy” before, as he usually played in two tight end sets during his time in Indianapolis, alongside Dwayne Allen.

The reason I have him at #4 is I “drink the Kool-Aid”, to a point.

If the value is there I would absolutely draft Fleener, as there’s a lot of upside. However, I have questions regarding his toughness and his ability to stay healthy as the featured tight end through a grueling 16 game NFL season, something he’s never had to do before.

Until he proves himself, I wouldn’t be comfortable reaching for this one.
