Saints Final 53 Man Roster Projection: OFFENSE

QUARTERBACKS: Drew Brees, Luke Mccown, Garrett Grayson (3)

This may be the easiest projection of any group for this season, as Drew, Luke, and Garrett are locks to make the team. Drew played well in his final tune up before the start of the regular season going 9-12 for 78 Yards and a Touchdown pass to Willie Snead.

McCown has had an okay preseason, his best game coming in the 1st preseason game vs. the Pats. McCown has been Drew’s back up since 2013, earning one start in the time frame — a Week #3 contest last season against the eventual NFC Champion Carolina Panthers.

Grayson was the Saints’ 3rd round pick in 2015 and has had his moments in the Preseason, including the loss to the Steelers the other night where he opened 9 of 11 and hit TommyLee Lewis for a touchdown.

However, the wheels then began to fall off, as two bad interceptions defined his day at the office. Grayson is still a definite work in progress, but for now looks to be staying around in New Orleans.
