#1. “CHILDREN OF THE CORN”   (or)   THE SAINTS YOUNG ROSTER IS BEGINNING TO MATURE

The Saints have one of the youngest rosters in the NFL, but these guys seem to be learning and growing with each passing week.

One of the hardest things to do at the highest level of the sport of football is learning HOW to win in different ways.

This team is very close to a “breakthrough” — as evidenced by the “oh-so-close” losses in the first 3 weeks of the season; where only 1 or 2 plays down the stretch would have made the difference.

The GOOD teams learn from this, and the fight that the Saints showed in their come from behind victory on the road against San Diego, tells me that this group is ready to step forward right now.

A win today over Carolina would illustrate that very notion.
