#2. “RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD”  (or)  THE SAINTS ARE ABOUT TO GET SOME OF THEIR KEY STAR PLAYERS BACK FROM INJURIES

Within the next few weeks, the Saints will be starting to get some of their key players back that have been out due to injury.

Delvin Breaux and Terron Armstead are among the best at their positions, and Sheldon Rankins was one of the most highly regarded defensive linemen in last springs draft.

In their absence, the players that have filled in have gained valuable experience that will most certainly help down the stretch run.

Since the end of Mini-Camp back in late June when promising defensive end / pass rusher Hau’oli Kikaha was lost for the season with a freak knee injury, the Saints have placed a total of 13 (yes, THIRTEEN) players on injured reserve.

And yet, the Saints have remained competitive. That speaks a lot to the character and the “mental make-up” of this football team, and it’s why the returning players could help put them over the top.
