PLAYOFFS?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Saints go 6-2 in Their “Stretch Run” to Clinch an NFC Wild Card Spot

My prediction in preseason was that the Saints would finish with a record of 10-6. Starting in an 0-3 hole, with an injury list that was only comparable to a M*A*S*H unit was certainly not an ideal start.

This group has shown a ton of fight in themselves since, however; winning 4 of their last 5 games.

This is a team that seems to be approaching their peak at the perfect time, and the schedule puts them in a position where they control their own playoff fate.

The New Orleans Saints will go 6-2 in the final half of the season to finish, including a crucial win over the hated Falcons in their new stadium in Atlanta in the season finale to finish…..yes, 10-6 with a playoff invitation in hand……
