THE FANTASTIC: THE WILLIE SNEAD TD PASS

Up 42-21, with the game well in hand with less than 8 minutes to play, Saints head coach Sean Payton dipped into his “bag of tricks” and called for a wide receiver “flea flicker”.

On the play, Brees threw a backwards lateral to Willie Snead, who was a former quarterback in high school — and he then turn threw the ball down-field to a wide open Tim Hightower for an easy touchdown.

After the play, the FOX TV cameras panned the sidelines, and the look of jubilation from Sean Payton perfectly showed the viewers at home EXACTLY what this game meant to him.

Which leads us to our final “FANTASTIC” thing from today’s game…..
