TERRON ARMSTEAD, OFFENSIVE LEFT TACKLE
Armstead is the Saints best offensive lineman, and among the best left tackles in the league when healthy.
Unfortunately, he has more fit the description of a one-legged warrior for the majority of this season. Due to multiple leg and hip injuries suffered in the preseason, he was only able to appear in 7 of his team’s games.
Armstead, along with center Max Unger, are viewed as the vital pieces on a line that will soon be rebuilding it’s right side, currently manned by veterans Jahri Evans and Zach Strief.
Missing Armstead from their lineup did hamper the Saints offensive attack at times; but the rest of the following players on our list crippled the New Orleans defense for the entire 2016 season.
