HATE VS. HATE

This is Saints vs Falcons, ladies and gentlemen.

This is worse than any sort of a “civil war”, or a blood feud between families such as the famous 1800’s regional family warfare of the Hatfields vs McCoys.

Even when Saints fans are a “house divided” when it comes to certain issues concerning the team, Saints fans (and even the team itself) stand united in their disdain and contempt for the arch-rival Falcons.

Atlanta does lead the all-time series between the two teams, 50-45; but the Saints have a 15-6 advantage during the Payton / Brees Era.

It’s important to note: there shouldn’t be any doubt as to whether Sean Payton will be the coach of this team in 2017. BUT….getting swept by a despised divisional rival and sending the team to its third straight losing season in a row; certainly won’t look that great on the resume, as the team heads into the 2017 off-season beginning tomorrow night.

Nevertheless, this is Saints vs. Falcons — so “get your popcorn ready” as the saying goes; because the Saints-Falcons rivalry is a football WAR that never lacks for great entertainment….
