The New Orleans Saints may not have played on the first Sunday of the NFL season but we still learned a lot about their division foes.

Fans of the New Orleans Saints have to wait an extra day to see their team in action for the first time this season. While it is awesome to be on primetime on Monday night, the one drawback is that the Saints were not part of the fun on Sunday.

But hey, that means that all eyeballs are going to be on this game and the Saints. This could be a great thing, as a definitive win over the Houston Texans in Week 1 will prove that the Saints are still one of, if not the, best team in the NFL.

However, the downside of that exposure is that if the Saints lose then every talking figurehead on sports T.V. is going to declare that they are dead, or that Drew Brees is washed up in some capacity.

If we are being honest, there is going to be a bit of overreaction either way. That is not important, the important thing is that football is back, which is the one thing that can help heal the wound from the NFC Championship.

Football is back for 28 other teams in the NFL, which includes all three of the NFC South foes. Here is what we learned about each NFC South foe from their Week 1 performance.
