The great: Everything to do with the offense, particularly in the second half

The New Orleans Saints did not have the perfect game on the offensive side of the ball, especially in the first half. A costly turnover and overall sluggishness led the team to only have three points heading into the break, which is uncharacteristic of them.

But after getting the chance to get a breather and get their footing under them, the Saints’ offense was absolutely remarkable. Drew Brees had himself yet another great game and Alvin Kamara put on a show.

Brees completed 32 of his 43 passes for 370 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. In that second half especially, guys just seemed to always be wide open and Brees was hitting them every single time. It really looked like the offense was operating on Rookie difficulty on Madden.

That is especially true for Kamara, who was making guys miss and attacking the holes at the line of scrimmage. Kamara carried the ball 13 times for 97 yards while catching the ball seven times for 72 yards.

He was unable to find the endzone but Latavius Murray was, who finished the night with 43 yards on just six carries.

Michael Thomas finished with his usual 123 yards on 10 receptions while Tedd Ginn Jr. even had himself a big day with 101 yards on seven receptions.

Heck, even Taysom Hill added a nine-yard touchdown reception to his stat sheet. The line blocked great, Brees orchestrated it great and the offense looks like it has not missed a beat from last year.
