Player who will thrive: Alvin Kamara

It is no secret that Alvin Kamara is going to be a massive part of the New Orleans Saints’ gameplan. Kamara is already a focal point of the Saints’ offense with Brees under center and without him, he is going to become even more of a focal point.

Kamara is the ultimate security blanket for the Saints and Bridgewater to have to still be successful offensively. Having such a dynamic threat in the passing and the running game is going to force the Seahawks to respect Kamara and what he can do, giving Bridgewater more room to thrive.

But in this game, it will not be just the threat of Kamara that leads the Saints down the field. It will be Kamara’s production itself that keeps the Saints in this game as he will use his athleticism and playmaking ability to put together one of the best games of his young career.

Without Mark Ingram and Drew Brees, Kamara is likely going to get the biggest running workload of his young career and is going to be one of Bridgewater’s primary targets on screens and on short routes.

If you are an Alvin Kamara fantasy owner then I would be very excited for this week. As for the next player, not so much.
