2. The Cowboys have not been great at pressuring quarterbacks

The Dallas Cowboys’ defensive line has not been all that great this season. With a few injuries and the loss of Taco Charlton, even having Demarcus Lawrence has not been enough to give the Cowboys an all-around good defensive line. It took until Week 3 for Lawrence to record his first full sack, which is indicative of the defensive line as a whole.

All in all, the Cowboys have five sacks through three games this season. They are tied for the fifth-fewest sacks in the league and are the only team with five or fewer sacks in the league with a winning record. Again, going back to the weak schedule.

I mean heck, Miami Dolphins have allowed the third-most sacks thus far this season and they are the only reason that the Cowboys even have five sacks as they allowed three in their matchup. Dallas had one sack in each of the first two games.

That is very important as it means that Teddy Bridgewater is going to have a nice pocket, especially with the talent on the Saints offensive line. This is not going to be like the game against the Rams where the Saints get pressured all game.

This is going to be a game where Bridgewater actually gets a chance to work the offense and do what he does. That is extremely important for the entire Saints’ offense.
