1. This game has trap game written all over it

Have you ever heard of trap games in the NFL? It is a common phenomenon that even the teams admit are a real thing and it leads to losses that probably should not have happened all the time.

If you do not know what a trap game is, a trap game is a game that occurs a week before taking on a good opponent. In these games, you lose sight of the lesser opponent that is at hand, leading to a loss that should not happen.

That is the case for the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have the Chicago Bears in Chicago the following week and that game could have big playoff seeding implications, especially if New Orleans loses this game.

The Jaguars are no pushover (which we will get to) and are not a bottom tier team that the Saints can afford to look past. This is a team that absolutely can beat the Saints, and will if the Saints open the door too wide.

Also factor in that this game will be in Jacksonville at 1:00 p.m. in the heat of the day, not exactly a great recipe for a team that plays in a dome.

A trap road game in the heat in one of the only places in America that are still hot at this time of year? That is a disaster waiting to happen for any team, not just the Saints.
