Saints “Winners and Losers” From the Loss to Tampa Bay

LOSER: Andrus Peat, Left Guard
Peat, like many of his offensive teammates, has played his worst two games of the season each of the last two weeks.
Yesterday he was positively man-handled at his left guard position by defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and the rest of the Buccaneers line.
Ironically, Peat’s best play this year has come when he has filled the spot of Terron Armstead at left tackle, perhaps the most difficult spot on the offensive line to play.
He has shown some nice potential at the left guard spot that the Saints prefer him to man, but his play is uneven and inconsistent at best.
Suffice it to say, the overall jury is still out on the 2015 1st round pick.
